Jacks or Better is easy to play. The hands that give you payouts are listed on the paytable - Jacks or Better, 2 Pair, 3 of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush, and Royal Flush - along with the payouts for each hand based on the number of coins. The first step is to place your bets by adjusting the bet size using the '-' and '+' options.

Once you have placed your bet click the Deal button. You get a 5-card hand and can retain any card you want by clicking on it. Then, click the Draw button to replace the remaining cards and get a fresh and final 5-card hand. How much you win depends on the hand you are able to put together. You get a 4000-coin jackpot if you get a Royal Flush after placing the maximum bet.

An interesting option in Jacks or Better, like in other Microgaming video poker games, is the Gamble option. Click this option if you want to double your winnings; conversely you could also lose whatever you won during that specific round. On the fresh screen you get a 5-card hand with one card dealt face up; click any of the face-down cards. You double your winnings if the card you clicked has a higher value than the face-up card and can then continue with the feature till you quit or reach the maximum Gamble limit. Getting a card that has a lower value than the open card causes you to lose your winnings and brings the Gamble feature to an end.
