One of North Americas largest online online gambling and entertainment companies, Bodog, is finally breaking ground in Europe. Last night the entertainment division of the multi-faceted company kicked off the expansion with a celebratory bash (their first party on the continent) at a club in London.
The Thursday night festivities, that were hosted by Bodog founder and billionaire Calvin Ayre, were more specifically geared to celebrate the launch of the companies music label in Europe. Bodog was able to secure the exclusive rights for Wu Tang’s new album in Europe.
'We have been itching to get into the UK market and could not resist throwing a party for our new act the Wu Tang Clan,” said Calvin Ayre “This party will have all the elements of a legendary Bodog event – great music, a fantastic crowd and stunning Bodog girls.”
The music label is only the first of many products and services offered by the entertainment group to expand into the UK. Bodog has announced that they are set to launch there betting services; casino, poker & sportsbook this fall. This service will allow UK players to access their accounts by making all their transactions with the UK sterling.
The sportsbook division will also allow bettors to place bets on sporting events that the UK sports fans are particularly devoted to (such as football, rugby, cricket and horse racing). Locals will also be able place bets on another of the nations favorite pastimes, the British reality tv series’ and celebrity gossip.
If the popularity and success of Bodog were to follow the same pattern as it has in North America, the luxurious Bodog Music WU Tang Party, although it was the first, will definitely not be the last to entertain the elite party-going crowd in London, one of the worlds most exhilarating party venues.
