On January 20th 2014, Microgaming announced that it had obtained a licensing agreement with Studiocanal S.A to develop a brand new online slot machine based on the 1991 Hollywood blockbuster, Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
“We are incredibly excited to be developing an online slot around the Terminator 2 movie – it is a brand which has mass appeal and lends itself perfectly to the world of online gaming. The scheduled release date for this ground-breaking new online is 'at some point' in the summer of 2014. Already being labelled simply as the T2 online slot, this brand new game will have 5 reels and 243 ways to win during regular play. The Free Spins Bonus Round will automatically trigger when three or more of the Time Travel Orb Scatter Symbols appear in view and this will increase the number of winning ways to 1024 ways (during the free spins bonus round only).

Microgaming will also be previewing the T2 online slot machine at ICE Totally Gaming 2014, an annual event which is scheduled to take place at London’s ExCel centre (between 4th and 6th February).
