ICE Totally Gaming 2016 took place between February 2nd to 4th and the world’s leading online casino software providers took the opportunity to showcase some of their latest products and games. Microgaming, NetEnt and Betsoft Gaming, along with countless other industry leaders were in attendance and this annual three day event followed on directly from the ninth International Gaming Awards 2016 – an awards ceremony which took place at the London Savoy Hotel on February 1st.

Betsoft Gaming previewed three brand new 3D slots which will be available in casinos at some point in 2016. These new 3D slots included Frankenslot’s Monster, Rise of the Dragon and 4 Seasons and speaking about these visually stunning and currently unreleased slots was the Betsoft Gaming Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mark McKeown. He said, “We at Betsoft are pleased to bring amazing new game functionality to iGaming in 2016. Each of the games we are debuting at ICE are unique and charming in the difference of their construction and theme…”

He then finished by saying, “…We know that ICE attendees will leave our stand, content that they’ve experienced the best in game development as well as exciting hints as to what is coming from us in the near future.” These comments came directly from the official Betsoft Gaming press desk where you can read the comments in full. One of these new 3D slots, Rise of the Dragon, is also currently being previewed on Betsoft Gaming’s official YouTube Channel right now. Betsoft Gaming slots can occasionally be found at top UK online casinos such as Mr Green Casino.

NetEnt also took the opportunity at ICE to showcase the future of online gaming. Just like Microgaming, NetEnt has also been exploring virtual reality technology. The NetEnt stand offered a glimpse of their virtual reality slots experience and also exhibited its leading-edge 3D sound technology. “NetEnt always likes to bring excitement to ICE and this year, as we celebrate our 20th birthday, we’re going bigger and better than ever,” said the NetEnt CEO, Per Eriksson.

Also at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming event, Microgaming, Betway Casino and 26-year-old UK player Jonathon Heywood received official certificates from Guinness World Records, recognising the €17,879,645.12 progressive jackpot win that occurred at Betway Casino back in October 2015. “It was fantastic to welcome Jon to our stand at ICE for the official Guinness World Records certificate handover,” said the Microgaming CEO, Roger Raatgever.

He finished by saying, “Having spent some time with him today, I can honestly say it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. We’re proud to share the world record and look forward to creating our next jackpot millionaire.” This record-breaking win happened on Microgaming’s Mega Moolah progressive jackpot slot and the winning spin cost just £0.25p.
